What's the weather like?
The weather is always good, incredibly good for being on the european continent. Rain happens mostly in winter and spring.

How cold is the water?
You need a 3/2 mm wetsuit, which we provide in the surf lessons. You can sometimes surf in shorts in August and September.

How are the waves?

Good all year around.

How do I get there?
We are in Carrapateira, in the south of Portugal about 40 km de Lagos,  25 from Aljezur, 15 from Vila do Bispo and 23 from Sagres. We will give you all the details anyway at the time of your booking.

Where's the nearest airport?
Faro is 120 km from the Surf Camp approx., one hour and 20 minutes by car, there are public transportation options with bus and train and transfer companies. Lisbon is 330 km away and it takes 4 hours to come here by bus or train. We can pick you up at the airport, or you could rent a car. Renting a car is more convenient if you want to be highly mobile. If coming by train, then Lagos is your final destination. There are numerous train connections from Lisbon to Lagos and from Faro to Lagos daily. We can pick you up at the train station in Lagos. Please let us know your arrival details in advance.

A sleeping bag, a torch, towels, and good vibes!!!
Don´t forget to bring a warm robe for the evenings!.

Are your courses for beginners and people who have never surfed before?
You all are welcome regardless of your surf level: Many of you have never surfed before, some of you want to improve your surf level. The proportion in the Surf Camp is 90% beginners.
